PARAGUAY-NATURE-WATER LILY-VICTORIA

People take a boat to see giant water lilies (Victoria amazonica) - known as Yakare Yrupe in Guarani - which appear every three to four years in great numbers and size (more than a metre and a half in diameter), in the Paraguay River in Piquete Cue just north of Asuncion, on January 8, 2018.
